Dublin Has Been Ranked In The Top Five Cities In The World For A Night Out

Anyone for pints? 

A new survey conducted by Hostelworld has ranked Dublin at number four in a list of the best cities for nights out in the world. 

Based on 4,100 interviews, people were asked about four different categories, namely quality of nightlife, cost, getting around, and safety and openness.

The site describes the nightlife in Dublin as:

“Some of the best nightlife around which scores it 4th place, but its price can let it down for us thrifty travellers.

 But, as always, if you know where to look, you can find drinking spots in Dublin for a night out that won’t break the bank! A trip to Dublin is not complete without a visit to a classic Irish pub – start your night somewhere such as Auld Dubliner in Dublin’s popular Temple Bar area, or Sin É, a student loved bar with heaps of drinks offers.”

Nice shout-outs for two of Dublin’s favourite pubs there but of course the hefty prices of our city have to get a mention.
