Dublin’s Best Northside Hairdressers Has Just Gotten A Revamp – And She’s A Beaut

We have a real soft spot for Drumcondra in our office.

The area boasts history, gorgeous terraced homes and a real sense of Dublin within its boundaries – and of course, the best place to get your barnet trimmed in town. 

Hession Hairdressing Drumcondra, a firm favourite with both locals and celebrities, has recently undergone a major facelift – and boy, what a revamp it is.

Head designer Kari Rocca states that it is clear both comfort and style are at the forefront of the new Drumcondra salon:

“My aim was to create a contemporary, timeless boutique style environment reflective of luxury hotels while at the same time providing a tranquil luxurious space for the clients. We have included pockets of decorative areas, mirrors, lamps & floral arrangements to highlight the overall sense of luxury & space and to continue with this contemporary art deco scheme.”

The new digs boasts a secluded back wash room with six reclining massage chairs, ambient music and individual lighting for each basin which can be tailored to each client’s preference.

And that’s not all…

Hessions now has within its ranks a bespoke exclusive BUFF Make-up Suite on the upper level of the salon, with marble surfaces and gold finishes framing the whole room. Dreamyyyy.

Paul Hession is only delira with the new get-up, stating how clients are chuffed with the makeover:

“I’m over the moon with the newly designed salon. Our goal was to create a chic and relaxing atmosphere with a modern twist and Kari Rocca has done an amazing job in bringing this vision to life. The reaction from clients has been amazing. The new Beauty Area in particular is going down a treat!”
