Festival of Carols & Readings at Chester Beatty Library

The Chester Beatty library hosts an evening of Christmas cheer this evening. Combining music and words with mulled wine and minced pies for a festive night to remember. This is also a great chance to gain access to the fascinating Chester Beatty Library after hours, and to see some of our great relics in a different light.

People’s Art Exhibition @ Stephen’s Green

People’s Art Dublin is a voluntary, part time, non profit making group, brought together by Dublin City Council to promote the visual arts to the public of Dublin. Each year after expenses are paid, donations are made to various charities. From tomorrow until Sunday, there will be pieces of artwork and sculpture for sale from vendors along the perimeter of St. Stephen’s Green.

It’s A Wonderful Life on Stage

Enjoy this 1946 Christmas classic taken from the screen in a stage adaptation. It’s a traditional tale of disaster striking, and leading you to fully appreciate what life has given you. This theatrical production of It’s A Wonderful Life is guaranteed to warm even the heart of the meanest Grinch. It’s running in The Mill Theatre, Dundrum until Saturday.

The eight musical brothers from Chicago come to the Sugar Club today for a 3 night run until Saturday. Their performances are like no other; incorporating jazz, hip hop and modern day styling to create a unique sound. No fear of a lacklustre show here, just make sure you skip the gym that day, dancing at their show will be workout enough.

Bedlam Live: Coasts & Heroes In Hiding

The Bristol based band was conceived in 2011 and Coasts have deciding against the conventional method to stardom and have done things their own independent way, through non-stop, self-funded touring. It’ll be quite the treat to catch them in the intimate setting of Whelans this Saturday, before their success expands any further! Also on the bill are upcoming Irish band, Heroes in Hiding.
