The Lost Fashion History of Merrion Square Tour

See Merrion Square through a fashion lens and follow in the footsteps of its most stylish residents from couturiers such as Sybil Connolly to poets, politicians, Dukes and the twentieth century’s literary greats. This Saturday at 2pm Ruth Griffin will lead the event, helping you find out why the Square has such a special place in Dublin’s fashion history. Ruth has worked with such organisations as Vogue, the Irish Times and NCAD, to name but a few. She will commence with an insightful talk and coffee in the Friends Room of the National Gallery, following which we will set out on foot to explore the remarkable and almost lost fashion history of Merrion Square.

This is going to be his biggest Irish show to date, and one not to be missed.

Jesus Christ Superstar

The infamous 1970s musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber is in the middle of a two week run at the Bord Gais Energy Theatre. This all-singing, all-dancing spectacle is a glittering modern-day telling of the life of Christ. Hilariously infectious viewing, with a serious feel good factor fuelled by all the gospel singing.
