Five Places In Dublin You Can BYOB

Sharron

Whether you’re strapped for cash or just don’t fancy spending your week’s wages on pricey cocktails, there are plenty of  spots around Dublin you can enjoy on the cheap.

We love when places let us bring our own alcohol. It means we don’t have to worry whether they stock our favourite and we don’t feel too guilty about the impact it’s having on our pockets.

So we’ve rounded off five places you can bring your own stash this weekend and they don’t all involve food.

1. Vintage Kitchen

Vintage

Nestled just off Burgh Quay, this spot is so popular that you may need to book it weeks in advance!

From their prime Irish beef to their renowned surf and turf, their menu really has something for everyone. With corkage at just €3.50 per person, it won’t put a massive dent in your savings either!

2. BYOB Bowling

Bowl

This is the absolute craic!

Grab a good gang of your mates and a good few bottles and make your way down to the Lesiureplex venues in Coolock, Stillorgan or Tallaght.

They do BYOB nights on Fridays from 9pm till midnight. For just €12 per person you get bowling, pool and snooker!

3. Make Your Own Bespoke Cocktail

Cocktails

If gin, whiskey or vodka is your drink of choice, then you’re in for a treat. It’s just €25 for a two-hour slot where you hand over your drink of choice to the bar team. They’ll chat to you about what tastes you like and what you don’t before making up a range of cocktails based on your preferences. Book in advance though, as this place is always jammers.

4. Rotana Café

Rotana

One of the absolute champions of BYOB dining in Dublin, Rotana Café does not disappoint. They have some of the tastiest Lebanese dishes in the city and you get a massive starter and a main for less than €21. The corkage is completely free too. Bargain!

5. Play pool or table tennis at The Hideout

Pool

For just a fiver, you can bring your own beer to this place on South William Street. The option is available all day long at the weekends and on weekday evenings. It’s the ideal chill-out spot to enjoy a few beers and a casual game of pool or table tennis with your mates. What more could ya want?
