Gardaí often get a bitta shtick.
But one look at these photos and you’ll see just how sound they can be.
One of our readers, Eoin O Shaughnessy, sent these our way with the caption “for all the people that say Gardaí never help the public with anything”…
Yup, dead right, that’s certainly not the case here.
This Garda in particular was spotted on Arran Street East just off the quays helping a gal in difficulty change her tyre.
Passerby, Eoin, who took these photos said the Garda was on foot patrol at the time when he spotted the woman having some trouble with her tyre.
He proceed, “without hesitation”, to get all her stuff out of the boot so he could access her spare and proceeded to change it for her.
Sure beats calling roadside assistance anyways.
Fair play to this mystery Garda.
