Gardaí in Balbriggan have issued a warning to local parents after two abduction attempts occurred in the Dublin town in the last two weeks.
Parents are warned to be extra vigilant and cautious after a boy (13) was approached by a man on the morning of January 30 on the Castleland Park link road.
A second incident was reported in the town and Gardaí say they are currently investigating both.
A spokesperson from An Garda Síochána has said the suspect offered to drop the young boy to school in a black car.
Gardaí are urging anyone with any information to contact them at Balbriggan Garda station on 01 8020510 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
