An 11-year-old girl was rushed to hospital yesterday evening after being struck by a car in Dublin.
The young girl was hit as she was crossing the Sallynoggin Road after 6pm yesterday, reports Independent.ie.
Emergency services rushed to the scene and the girl was taken to Our Lady's Children's Hospital, Crumlin where she was reported to be in a serious condition.
The driver of the car, a wine coloured Audi, was a woman in her 30s. She was uninjured in the incident.
It is believed that CCTV from a nearby business has been obtained by Gardaí for examination into the exact circumstances of this incident.
