It might be budget day today but there is no better indicator that we are heading back to better times than the opening of a new Nespresso boutique on Dublin’s Duke Street. Up until now capsules have only been available online or in exclusive outlets like Brown Thomas as the coffee maker seeks to maintain their exclusive image. Their boutiques are dotted all across the globe and are as much an experience as setting foot into an Apple store or any other luxury experience. As much as anything you are buying the ‘experience’ of drinking better coffee. Personally we’d rather make it ourselves or drink one on the go in one of Dublin’s top 10 coffee shops but each to their own.
