Guinness Storehouse Named Europe’s Top Tourist Attraction Ahead Of The Eiffel Tower

niallharbison

It seems like not a day goes by at the moment that Ireland, and Dublin in particular, is not winning some sort of large international award. Today is no exception, as the Guinness Storehouse has landed the title of ‘Europe’s Leading Tourist Attraction’ at the The World Travel Awards last night.

Other contenders in the field included the Acropolis, Buckingham Palace, the Colosseum and the Eiffel Tower, so the Storehouse can rightly call itself the cream on top.

It really has been noticeable how many tourists have been back in the capital this year (the weak euro against the sterling and dollar has helped) and with top tourist attractions like this, is there any wonder. Expect even more people to come flocking to the venue in the years to come on the back of this award.

As they say….you’ll never beat the Irish!
