A social media campaign has taken off to find an injured rescue dog who went missing from her foster family last week.
The young whippet cross, named Gracie, disappeared from the family’s home in Knocklyon last Wednesday morning.
Still no sign of little Gracie so please keep an eye out folks. She’s a rescue and very sick so we need to find her. pic.twitter.com/il8lgQex9F

The Coffey family – who had been taking care of the recuperating dog, after she was abandoned by her previous owner – are especially worried about the whippet as she recently had a stomach operation, and needs to get stitches removed soon.

While the dog has been spotted at Old Court Cottages on the Old Court Road, the family were unable to get there in time to pick her up.
So if you spot Gracie, who is wearing a red collar with the family’s phone number attached, please contact her foster family on Twitter – and don’t forget to spread the word.
