Here Are The Best Spots In Dublin To Watch The McGregor Fight This Weekend

James Fenton

Early on Sunday morning, Ireland’s very own UFC Featherweight champion Conor McGregor will be aiming to add the Lightweight Championship to his collection by defeating Eddie Alvarez in New York City.

It’s rest assured that there will be a lot of weary-eyed souls in Dublin wanting to tune in to see how McGregor gets on.

There will be a number of fights preceding the main event so it may 5 or 6 am before Conor actually takes to the octagan.

With that in mind, one way you can make sure you’re wide awake is to head along to one of the Dublin venues showing the event with a group of mates.

We’ve picked out three of the best for you to choose from:

1. Green Isle Hotel

The Clondalkin hotel is putting on quite the shindig for UFC fans.

Doors will open at 11pm and aren’t expected to close until 7am which should certainly be enough time for everyone to watch the main event.

3 DJs are set to keep the crowd warmed up throughout the night. All the information is available here

Tickets are available via Ticketmaster or at the Green Isle Hotel reception.

Greenisle

2. Living Room

The Northside’s go to sports bar will be open for UFC as always

Tickets can be bought for £20 until 3am via the entrance to Murray’s Bar on O’Connell Street.

It should be noted that this is a non-alcoholic event.

Details can be found here.

Livingroom

3. Sin Nightclub

The city centre venue will be showing the event on their massive 10ft screens, which wouldn’t look out of place in Conor McGregor’s front room.

Entry will cost you €15 on the door and you should get there no later than 1am.
