Now this is how you enjoy the Euro Qualifier.

Ireland is set to play against Germany this Thursday night in the UEFA European Championship Qualifying Round, that’ll be taking place in the Aviva Stadium.

If you can’t make the match, Hangar are offering the next best thing: they’ll be projecting the crucial game in their warehouse onto an enormous screen, with commentary blasting from their newly installed Funktion One sound system. Not too shabby.

Hangar will be making an evening of it too, with music before and after the game, showcasing a host of Dublin DJs (such as Jonathan Kiely, Sam Greenwood, and Aaron Nolan). There’ll be soul, disco and house, while fans (hopefully) celebrate the fact that we’ve secured the points necessary for a play off spot.

You can also expect plenty of craft beers, a three cans for €10 deal, as well as two cocktails for €10.

There will also be bunting, which we feel obligated to mention because we know it’s kind of a deal-breaker.

If you’re tempted to attend, or you want to find out more, have a look at Hangar’s Facebook invite here. The match kicks off at 7.45pm, Thursday, October 8.

Entrance is free and you’ll find Hangar on Andrew’s Lane.
