A large fire which broke out at a waste recycling plant in Bray this morning has caused a huge smoke plume to drift across south county Dublin, according to Independent.ie.

Two units of Dublin Fire Brigade are still on the scene fighting the blaze this morning.

Reports are showing that the fire started just after 2am in a large collection of pallets in the Fassaroe area. The flames spread quickly, sending smoke high into the air across the south side of the capital.

Work has begun on the scene to try and isolate the fire to stop it spreading further.

No injuries have been reported as of yet.
