If you’ve got a dog at home you’ll know the guilt experienced when leaving them alone as you head off to work, and the sheer joy you are greeted with when you return later that evening…
They’re loveable creatures, dogs, and all they want is to hang out with you all the time because they think you’re the best person ever.
So, if you feel like you’ve been neglecting your pooch a little bit of late, we’ve got the perfect event for you to earn some doggy points..
Next Saturday, July 25, Bow Wow Times are hosting a Dog Day Afternoon in the Phoenix Park where dogs of all shapes and sizes (and their owners!) are invited to go walkies and raise funds for the Kildare Animal Foundation.
The walk starts at 12pm on the Furze Road in the Phoenix Park and they will be asking for a donation of €5 per human participant (though of course children and dogs can come along for free). All proceeds on the day will go directly to the charity, and you’ll also be entered into a draw for lovely doggy and human hampers as well.
You can sign up for the event here, so make sure you pencil this event in for your pooch next weekend!
