Hurrah – 7 Dublin Spots To Celebrate Pay Day This Week

Alana Laverty

So you’ve survived another month, congratulations!

Who agrees that March was the longest f*cking month to ever exist, compared to February anyways.

It really was a close one… so you probably deserve a treat.

But where to go?

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, Dublin has us absolutely spoiled for choice when it comes to fine dining and eateries – whatever the weather, whatever the price tag – you’re never stuck for somewhere, even when you want to splurge.

We’ve picked out some of our current favourites. Now all you have to do is choose.

1. Aqua — Howth

This is where we go when we really feel like treating ourselves.

Arguably the best views from a restaurant in all of Dublin, and they’ve all the awards to prove how good the food really is.

Check out their rooftop live camera feed here for some seaside vibes (unless it’s lashing, as per).

2. Pickle — Camden Street

We usually drift in here when our bank account is on the fuller side of not completely empty.

Pickle’s the kinda place where you go with a few people, order a load of delish dishes and try a bitta everything.

The best Indian food in Dublin in our humble opinion.

3. Bastible — South Circular Road

Unique, seasonal, innovative, artisan, *insert another buzz word here*.

Bastible really is all of the above though. If you’re looking for someplace reliable to celebrate pay day, Bastible should be a strong contender.

We’d highly recommend the ricotta and wild garlic dumplings with roasted onions and black cabbage. Yummmmm.

4. The Greedy Goose — Malahide

This Malahide restaurant has truly stolen our hearts.

Check out their extensive menu here.

Take note of the pork belly, ham hock croquette and black pudding trio. Divine.

5. The Winding Stair — Ormond Quay

Part of the Woollen Mills/Washerwoman/Grand Social family, The Winding Stair is one of Dublin’s original gems.

Enjoy delicious food while gazing out over The Liffey and live your best life.

Steak, please.

6. Drury Buildings — Drury Street

You could easily order ten tapas dishes here without blinking — they’re all so good.

Order yo’self a selection and a bottle of vino or one of their bespoke gin and tonics.

We’d highly recommend the croquettes.

7. Klaw — Temple Bar

Nothing says pay day quite like a f*ck load of oysters over ice, darling.

If you really wanna go all out, order the SFA (super f*cking awesome) Tower.

If not, go for happy hour *red dress dancing lady emoji* (every day 5pm-6pm).

Until next month…
