If You Grew Up In The ’90s, Then You Need To Go To This Special Dublin Screening Of ‘Into The West’

aidan

Ah, ‘Into The West’.

The ultimate staple of an Irish upbringing in the 1990s – and a title that prompts people of that generation to instinctively shout ‘Tayto, Tayto!’ before they’ve even realised what they’re doing.

Of course, it’s been so long since most of us saw it that you’d almost forget it’s a seriously good film – but you’ll have the chance to put that right next Wednesday, with this screening in the Grand Social.

Oh, and that’s not all…

In a move of sheer marketing GENIUS, there’ll be free packs of… Tayto, Tayto!

On top of that, there’ll be Butlers chocs, Cornude Artisan Popcorn and Haribo so that you can truly relive those sugar-filled cinema trips of yore.

And it’s all for a good cause

It’s all in aid of the wonderful Denise Ryan – whose battle against Lyme disease we’ve covered before on these pages, and who needs to raise a whopping hundred grand in order to get treatment.

She’s been busy selling these deadly Father Ted T-shirts, and we here at Lovin Dublin are currently working with her to organise an EPIC treasure hunt across the city. But more on that later…
