Immerse Yourself In This Spellbinding And Fantastical Dual Art Exhibition At GalleryX

seank

Immerse yourself in a fantastical dual art exhibition called Cauda Pavonis and Bestia Fera Spiritus at GalleryX on Herbert Street, which opens at 6pm this evening.

This will be the first Irish appearance of the Australian artist and performer Orryelle Defenestrate-Bascule, who will team up with local talent Dolorosa De La Cruz for an alchemical and esoteric phantasmagoria.

The show will feature colour works focusing on the mystical and fantastical, with the term Cauda Pavonis meaning ‘Peacock’s Tail,’ which is traditionally a phase of alchemical self-transformation. This spiritual process is represented in oils and peacock-egg-tempera paintings and an alchemical chess set of bronze, clay and glass.

Orryelle will also be performing new music with vocals, a violin, FX pedals and “ritual theatre” at the opening of the exhibition.

If you’d like to pop in after work to check out the kooky show for yourself, Cauda Pavonis and Bestia Fera Spiritus kicks off at 6pm this evening. The dual exhibition will run until September 4. For more information on this exhibition, click here.
