Currently unemployed or looking to move jobs?

Then you need to haul ass to this slick, free event on Tuesday, October 3 in The Mansion House on Dawson Street.

The sixth event from Upstarter aims to connect jobseekers with some of Ireland’s most innovative companies.

UpStarter is also aimed at anyone in the process of setting up a new company who is looking to find a co-founder.

The event is sponsored by Accenture in association with Irish Times Executive Jobs and will showcase large companies including Zendesk, Deloitte, Websummit, KPMG, Voxpro, EY, PwC & Amazon to name a few. The 20+ companies attending UpStarter will be hiring for over 500 roles across Ireland.

These jobs come in a variety of positions from AI experts and front end developers to product managers and customer experience executives

“Ireland is continuing to remain one of the most attractive countries in the world for technology companies to base their headquarters. Our highly educated talent pool and diverse workforce makeup has attributed to this significantly. This has led to a huge demand from companies in Ireland for assistance in finding experienced technical employees.”

Sean Judge, Director of UpStarter

With employees moving jobs more frequently than ever before, UpStarter is aimed at experienced jobseekers who may be looking for a career change. “Our event is different than anything else in the recruitment space. Its casual, takes place in the evening and is more of a networking event over a few drinks than a careers fair.

We want people who might not necessarily be looking for a new job to drop in and have a chance to understand the huge variety of positions that exist within Ireland.
