We love to hear of Irish companies thriving on the global market and there was great news for online start-up Jobbio this week.
The company, which connects companies with potential employees, was founded in 2015 by brothers Stephen and John Quinn and it has now hit a major milestone by securing €5m in funding for its global expansion.
The platform allows users to upload their CV, or import it from LinkedIn, enter their desired field and apply for jobs, both within Ireland and abroad.
They advertise thousands of jobs every day, and will now be creating plenty more of their own.
Jobbio has raised €5 million in Series A funding, led by NJF Capital, which will be used to accelerate the company’s growth.
With offices in Dublin, New York and London, they plan on doubling their workforce in the next year, across the US and UK and into Canada.
Over 100,000 opportunity-seekers join the platform every month, and apply for over 500,000 jobs.
??Super proud to announce we raised a fresh €5 million in series A funding. Here’s why the job market needs us https://t.co/pJqslFQieo ??
