JPMorgan Chase & Co have just agreed to a deal to purchase 200 Capital Dock in Dublin’s city centre, as part of long-term plans to create up to 500 new jobs in the capital.

According to RTÉ, the new offices are currently being built on Sir John Rogerson’s Quay on the south side of Dublin’s docklands – and are set to be finished in Autumn 2018.

Upon completion, the space will be able to accommodate 1,000 workers.

According to Bloomberg, the US bank is paying €125m for the new office building.

Following the Brexit vote, Dublin is one of the more obvious choices among the locations being considered by JP Morgan for a European headquarters.
