Ireland’s first Krispy Kreme just opened in Blanchardstown during the week and it’s been popular with people across the city to say the least.
Popular to the point that it’s near impossible to actually get your hands on a doughnut unless you’ve got a whole lot of patience and are willing to queue up.
People have been reporting that the drive-thru queue has had up to 30 cars waiting to be served.
The store itself has been absolutely packed too – the queues were literally out the door over the weekend with waits of up to an hour, as some Twitter users pointed out.
Krispy Kreme Blanchardstown at 9am this morning. 30 cars in the Drive Thru and 100 people queuing inside. A doughnut famine will be catastrophic for Dublin 15.

Sadly, Krispy Kreme have no plans to open any more Dublin stores at the moment despite their huge popularity so you’ll have to keep braving those queues for now…
