The Luas Green Line is still not fully back up and running after Storm Ali caused serious damage to overhead power lines yesterday.

They advised passengers that tickets are valid on Dublin Bus routes for anyone looking to travel through the affected areas.

They confirmed that there is currently still no service between Cowper and Dawson as maintenance teams work to repair the ‘significant and extensive damage’.

Services are operating between Broombridge to Dawson and from Cowper to Sandyford/Brides Glen.

A statement on the Luas website confirmed there would be a detailed update in relation to the restoration of a full Green Line Service this afternoon.

They added, Maintenance are on site and working on the overhead power lines which were significantly damaged yesterday due to Storm Ali in the Charlemont - Beechwood areas of the Line.’
