Man (30s) Killed In Horrific Attack Yesterday Evening In Dublin

A man in his early 30s has died following a vicious assault in Dublin yesterday evening. 

The man was attacked by a number of men in the area of Brookview Close, Tallaght after 7pm. 

The men drove over the victim with a car and dragged him a significant distance using the vehicle when he attempted to escape the area. 

Locals in the area managed to remove the victim from underneath the car where he lay fatally injured once the attackers had fled. 

The car and a mobile phone left at the scene will be forensically examined by Gardaí. 

Emergency services rushed to the scene where the man was later pronounced dead. 

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses and anyone with information to contact Tallaght Garda Station on 01-666 6000.
