A man has been arrested following a boat theft and joyriding in Dublin in the early hours of this morning, according to the Journal.ie.
It is believed that the boat was removed from Poolbeg Marina this morning at approximately 6am and was then taken up the Liffey into the city centre and out to Dublin Port by a group of four people.
Crews from the RNLI and the Coast Guard spent the morning chasing and trying to stop the boat on the river and out near Dublin Port, where it is said to have been driven erratically near a ferry.
Members of Dublin Fire Brigade and Gardaí were also on the scene.
