Scattered wintry showers in the West will become more widespread in the morning but will die out again to leave a dry afternoon for most parts with spells of winter sunshine. Feeling cold throughout, with highest temperatures of just 4 to 7 degrees Celsius, in mostly moderate westerly breezes. More showers will push into Atlantic fringes towards evening.
