"I Don't Understand Why They're Picking On Me – It's Probably The Smallest Vehicle In Kilbarrack"

The owner of an 'Only Fools And Horses' van has been given an ultimatum by the council

Only fools and horses van

One Dublin businessman has been a delivered an ultimatum by Dublin City Council over his Only Fools And Horses van (we hate when that happens): either he takes it off the road or they will.

According to the Irish Independent, Tommy Tuckers Tyres in Kilbarrack has been instructed to move the Robin Reliant van from a cul-de-sac because it constitutes advertising on a public road.

Its owner Jonathan Goddard, whose vehicle is the same make as the iconic Only Fools and Horses van, contends the council's ultimatum as he claims the vehicle is not merely for advertising and he has nowhere else to park it.

Goddard said, "I don't understand why they are picking on me – it's probably the smallest vehicle in Kilbarrack."

While the council are being steadfast in their demand of the car's removal, Mr Goddard says he will take legal action to keep his van where it is if need be. He'll need to channel his inner Del Boy to charm his way out of this one.
