A Movie Theatre? On A Beach? In Dublin? You Better Believe It

One of the things we hear the most often is that “you end up doing the same old things all the time as a Dubliner”.

Well, we are seeing lots of unique events popping up of late, and this new “Movie On A Beach” is one such innovative idea. The idea is a simple and brilliant one, but we can’t help wondering if the organisers have thought about the Irish weather..

23,000 people have signed up to the event on Facebook so the demand is clearly there, with the organisers say they’ll be revealing the beach in the next couple of weeks.

With movies on the beach and Dun Laoghaire’s new urban beach being built, it looks like Dubliners are going to be spending a lot more time with sand between their toes this summer. Now let’s all do a sun dance because the weather better start improving!
