Mrs Doyle Herself Is Throwing A Tea Party In Dublin Today

Father Ted fanatics, your fantasy has just become reality: you can now attend a tea-based event featuring the Mrs Doyle.

'Mrs Doyle's Tea Party — The Batter Bake Off' is taking place for the Stoneybatter Festival today, where Father Ted alumna Pauline McLynn will be hosting alongside Great Irish Bake Off presenter Anna Nolan to determine who's got the best biscuits in the 'Batter.

The competition will have three categories: best cake, best biscuit and best plate of sandwiches. Entering the competition is free, you just need to fill in a registration form beforehand, though entries close within the hour.  

You'll come for the show, you'll stay for the tea.

'Mrs Doyle's Tea Party — The Batter Bake Off' takes place from 4-5pm this afternoon on the Festival Stage on Manor Street, Stoneybatter.
