Gardaí are currently investigating what is being described as a drive-by mugging where a young mother who was walking with her babies was targeted in Malahide on Thursday.
Two men allegedly tried to steal her handbag and although they were unsuccessful the altercation had affected both mother and children.
Gardaí are currently investigating the attempted theft which took place at around 12:30pm and state that investigations are ongoing.
Gardaí also confirmed that they are investigating two different muggings which took place outside two different and popular Dublin locations earlier this week.
The first took place on Sunday evening beside the Clayton hotel in Clondalkin.
Gardaí are saying that the incident took place at around 5:30pm and that a woman's bag was stolen near the hotel in Ronanstown.
The second incident took place outside Malahide Castle on Monday afternoon and involved a woman in her 40s who was visiting the premise.
According to Gardaí, the woman was approached by a car and had her handbag stolen but there was a struggle.
Eventually, the attacker got hold of the handbag and fled the scene.
Gardaí are urging witnesses who might know anything about either attacks to come forward and contact Gardaí.
