Armed Gardaí were seen evacuating Easons on O’Connell Street yesterday evening following a reported bomb scare.
According to Independent.ie, customers and staff were made evacuate the building just before 5pm after Gardaí received a bomb threat.
Gardaí believe the call was a hoax however they carried out a security sweep as a precautionary measure.
Staff were allowed to return to the building by 5.35pm.
