One Of Our Favourite Classic Cafes Has Opened A New Location On Dublin’s Northside

Alana Laverty

Our old offices used to be a comfortable stone’s throw away from Hatch & Sons on Stephen’s Green.

We’d go up there when we were hankering for a cheeky mid-week fry up and always left satisfied.

So when we heard Hatch & Sons was spreading its wings and expanding to the Northside we were only delighted.

And not just in any old building – they’ve set up shop in The Hugh Lane Gallery, no less!

Parnell Square can consider itself lucky to be getting such a tasty new neighbour.

They opened over the Bank Holiday Weekend and we’ve been hearing rave reviews about the new spot ever since.

The old-worldly style of the gallery goes perfectly with the vibes in Hatch & Sons, who are all about good, honest Irish food that’s nourishing and simple and classic.

Did someone say blaa?

Eating here is like eating in your granny’s country kitchen except waaay better (sorry granny).

All the food focuses on fresh, local ingredients, and small touches such as little pots of Glenillen yoghurt with their full Irish brekkies make all the difference.

How would anyone be able to resist this?
