The sun had barely set last night when the rain, thunder and lightning began, yet it was still far too warm for anyone to sleep.
Today has started off with dreary grey skies so far but according to Met Éireann there will be "sunny spells and just isolated showers", with highest temperatures between 20 - 22 degrees.


Looks like a brolly will come in handy, so!
