Here at Lovin Dublin, we are huge fans of Humans Of New York and we’ve been keen to apply its format to Dublin for a while. Taking inspiration from its unique format, we sent our freelance photographer Caolán out onto the streets to find out a bit about the people of Dublin.’
Fixin Da Bus
“Do you mind if I take a photo of you and the bus.”
“Well you better take it quick, it’s going to be towed in a minute”
“What’s wrong with it?”
“It won’t drive”
New Friends
“How do you know one another?”
“We met here in the park about a year ago. I love her dog, Patch, he’s a star. We see each other most days here. It’s nice to sit and have a chat.”
Reggae Master
“I’ve been in Ireland for 10 months learning English. I love it here, but I have to leave next month. My dream is to travel the world playing reggae music. When I get back to Mexico, I want to record an album and then tour.”
“Have you written any songs while you’ve been in Ireland?”
“Yes, actually. One of them is called ‘Carolina’. It’s about a special friend that I met here, named Caroline. She’s Irish.”
“Is it a love song?”
“Haha! I don’t know, man. Maybe.”
