This may not seem like a huge deal to some, but if you commute to work via Dawson Street in Dublin you'll know that the struggle has been real for a very long time now.
We remember battling the forever-moving metal fencing on Dawson Street on a daily basis while making our way to our old offices.
You'd be legging it into work, on your merry way, only to be met with a dead end while turning onto Molesworth Street, and would have to make your whole way back and around.
Then the next day the dead end would've moved and you'd run into it elsewhere.
It was like a maze.
And a total pain in the hole - all to facilitate Luas Cross City works.

Yes - we understand that the fencing was there to contain and facilitate works, for our safety and all that jazz.
Doesn't mean it was any less annoying, or make it any less of an eye sore.
But some great news today as all the tall fencing has disappeared!
Hurrah.
It's all been removed to unveil the Dawson Street we'd forgotten existed.

We can already imagine a Dublin free of construction. Ahhh.
