PIC: Gardaí Seized A Serious Amount Of Cash And Cannabis In Dublin Yesterday

Cannabis with an estimated street value of €5,000 was seized by Gardaí in the Kevin Street vicinity on Wednesday afternoon after they stopped a van to search it.

Gardaí arrested two men in their 40s and later discovered €21,000 in cash while carrying out a follow-up search at a home nearby. The cash was seized.

The arrested men were detained at Kilmainham Garda Station under Drug Trafficking legislation. One of the men was charged while the second was later released without charge. A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
