They say a good leader is one who’s willing to roll up his sleeves and join the frontline when duty calls – and Michael O’Leary is certainly a believer in that mantra.
The Ryanair CEO was spotted by Gary Dunne taking a break from his high-flying strategic operations, and checking in passengers boarding a flight to London in Dublin Airport this morning.
Maybe it’s because they were short on numbers, or maybe it’s because Michael loves a good media stunt – thanks for the tasty bait, Mick! – but it’s certainly not the first time he’s done this.

And to be honest, the fact he even knows how that machine works puts him a step ahead of most CEOs.
He ain’t perfect, but credit where credit’s due…
