Driving in Dublin can be really trying at times; cyclists, traffic and no right turns are only the half of it.
And it seems that this morning’s commute in was potentially more annoying than most, as a traffic light which appears to be broken, has been holding up drivers all morning.
Brought to our attention by Twitter user Cóilín MacCraith, it appears that the traffic light at Mayor St coming into Guild St behind the Convention Centre are the ones causing havoc – leaving drivers stuck at the lights for up to 10 minutes.
@DubCityCouncil this light has been red for 7 minutes. Definitely broken! pic.twitter.com/Ia26cdQbTZ

Cóilín got in touch with us to say that action had to be taken to actually move on from the junction.
”Lad had to eventually get out of the car and ask the bus to break the red light after 10 mins”
Nightmare.
Dublin City Council have been informed of the apparently broken lights, and it will hopefully be resolved by the end of the day.
