Just when you think you can’t love Dublin Fire Brigade any more…
Dublin Fire Brigade were earlier contacted by the DSPCA who were called to rescue a distressed horse in the Grand Canal at Killeen Road, Dublin 12.

Three units from the fire brigade called to the scene, along with a river rescue team and the DSPCA. A team effort was used to help the foal out of the water, where a vet was waiting to ensure the horse’s health.

And judging by the photos – the foal’s a happy camper now.
