katedemolder

Dublin Fire Brigade saved yet another person from a pool of water as crowds watched them pull one person from the Liffey at Eden Quay at about 7pm last night.

Big crowds of onlookers gathered on the north side quays and watched as emergency service took the person from the river.

Four units of firefighters, a rescue boat and two ambulance units from the Tara Street and Phibsborough stations were on the scene.

This follows Dublin Fire Brigade’s rescue of a man from the canal just two days ago and the death of a woman and three missing people involved in a helicopter crash in Co Mayo yesterday.

Dublin woman, Captain Dara Fitzpatrick, was named as the woman who lost her life following the crash.
