Dublin Fire Brigade are doing some stellar work in teaching us about the importance of fire safety, and the dangers of possible cause and neglect.
The effects of the particular fire they posted today are, however, not for the faint hearted.
The enflamed rubbish pile was spotted in Balbriggan.

The fire had spread to nearby bushes and trees - a scenario that the Fire Brigade say often happens when illegal dumping occurs.
This could have ended much more dangerously. Let this be a lesson learned to all of us to rid ourselves of our rubbish legally and safely.
