It’s that time of the year again…
Where gorse fires become as frequent as rainfall in Ireland.
There have been some pretty serious fires across the country already in recent weeks. But thankfully our heroic fire crews have gotten them all under control before they’ve caused significant damage.
Like these fires in the area of Three Rock mountain and Ticknock yesterday evening.
Three units from Dublin Fire Brigade battled fires in three separate locations in the Dublin Mountains for hours last night before managing to get them all under control.

Dublin Fire Brigade reports that they received nearly 100 emergency calls from locals reporting the fires last night.
Smoke from the fire was seen from the likes of Sandyford, Howth and Glasnevin.
