Dublin Fire Brigade have had a busy few months fighting major gorse fires all around the country.
With the last few days being more wet and rainy, you’d think that the fires would stop.
But, apparently not.
Last night saw another huge fire take to Dublin Mountains.
The fire, which was around the Loughlinstown area, had 6 units of the Fire Brigade at the scene.

The wind is carrying smoke some distance. If you are south, south east of the fire, it may be wise to close windows and bring in the washing pic.twitter.com/fFhiBqWaLX

Luckily, they seemed to have nature on their side as the rain set in and helped extinguish the blaze.
Now 7 pumps in Ticknock. Rain arranged by @MetEireann is moving in which should help with firefighting and preventing it spreading. pic.twitter.com/36U7n99R5t
