PICS: This Authentic Greek Restaurant Has Just Opened In Glasnevin

If you’ve got a soft spot for cuisine of the Mediterranean variety, Eatgreek might just be your new stomping ground.

Located at the site that formerly housed Indian takeaway Mann O Salwa, the new eatery deals in authentic Greek food courtesy of a head chef boasting 25 years of experience and two other restaurants still running back in Greece.

The owners particularly recommend their chicken gyros or vegetarian pita wraps, as well as their loukoumades (deep-fried pastries) with Nutella or honey syrup for dessert.

The health conscious will love this place, with Greek cuisine’s love of vegetables, favouring olive oil over butter, and the use of high-protein feta cheese in their dishes.

At present, the restaurant has capacity to seat 25 diners but they also offer delivery through Deliveroo and Just-Eat.
