PICS: Today You're Finally Trying One Of Dublin's Best Brunches
It's Sunday – you deserve this
Angelina's is the epitome of beautiful dining, just off Upper Baggot Street.
From the interior and exterior to the intricate presentation of their food and drinks – it's all perfection.
It's not someplace I could afford to be hitting up every weekend. But some weekends you just feel like going that extra mile and treating yourself — that's what Angelina's is there for.
The biggest appeal is their balcony terrace that sits out right on the canal.
Sound chilly? Well they've blankets to keep you nice and warm <3
Their deli, lunch and dinner are really excellent. But brunch is where they truly excel.
Their brunch drinks include bloody or virgin Marys, mimosas, fresh fruit and vegetable juices and some really serious coffee.
You can also order from their delish cocktail menu.
As for food
It does not get much better than this.
I personally usually opt for savoury. But their sweet brunch options are as beautiful as they are delicious.
Like this french toast with caramelised bananas, berries and Nutella sauce
Or these delectable buttermilk pancakes with salted caramel syrup, roasted pecans and mascarpone
They also offer healthy porridge and fruit salad options for brunch
In terms of savoury you are in for one of the toughest decisions of your life.
They do a full breakfast with maple pork belly, sausage, scrambled eggs, homemade beans and sourdough bread. A hearty breakfast that would fill you for days.
I included the following dish on The Ultimate Brunch To-Do List: 17 Dublin Dishes You Need To Try In 2016... and it's really something special.
Eggs Benedict with fish cakes, pink grapefruit, avo and chilli kale
A work of art.
And then there's the Eggs Florentine with mushroom, spinach, burnt asparagus and seasoned house potatoes
If you're serious about brunch – don't skip this place.
