The concept of a 'blow-dry bar' is not entirely new to Dublin, and a few have popped up in recent years after the increasing popularity in the likes of London, LA and New York.
But this brand new one on Wicklow Street gives the concept a whole new meaning.
Despite opening last month, you mightn't have spotted or even have heard of this place yet.
But trust us, it's about to get busy. So get booking.
They call themselves Dry & Fly Blow Dry And Beauty Bar - with an emphasis on the bar - this ain't no ordinary salon.
Sure, going to the hairdressers is (almost) always pleasant, sociable and good craic. But the idea here is ten times that.
Dry & Fly a total social experience.
In fact, it's encouraged - bring your bestie, your boss, your ma, your granny - if they've got a head of hair, Dry & Fly will make it look fantastic.
There are six signature blow-drys to choose from, and a further six updos.
Prices from a mere €18 - where else would you get it in this extortionate city?!
Sorry, did we even mention the best part?
Dry & Fly stock our favourite drinks of all time.
That's right - chilled prosecco and Glendalough G&Ts.
Can you think of anything more glam?
Blow-drys and bubbles is the new brunch with the gang.
They also have yummy treats and Nespresso coffee if you're trying to be good.
Here's the low down:
Based upstairs at 15 Wicklow Street
Specialise in blow-drys
But also offer makeup and nail services on request
Coffee and treats available
Prosecco and G&Ts if you're looking for something fancier
Best quality products available - salon uses all Kevin Murphy
You can opt for wash or no wash - prices vary
Huge emphasis on convenience - couldn't be easier - they do all the work!
Can be used as a beautiful event space
I can definitely see Dry & Fly replacing the weekend coffee with the gals - book in all together and chat over some well-deserved pampering and drinks.
They stay open 'til late so you can even head in and get ready there for your night out, get the hair done, have a few drinks - there's even a whole separate space to change/do your own makeup.
And it's pink.
Friends Andrew O'Neill and Geoff Walker take care of the biz side of things while Susie Redmond is in charge of all things creative, with 15+ years in TV and film hair styling under her belt.
A dream team, one might say.
As for the design?
Collaboratively designed by Millimetre Design and owner Andrew O’Neill, the salon really couldn't be more aesthetically pleasing.
Trendy but without being OTT and naff.
A total pleasure to relax in.
Weekends and lunchtimes in Dry & Fly are already mental - so make sure to book in advance. Their app is available from the Apple App Store and from Google Play so you can book in less than 60 seconds.
They are also looking for some talented staff to join their team - so get sending your CV to Susie@dryandfly.com.
