We may not have had a White Christmas, but a White Valentine’s Day could be on the cards.
Temperatures are set to plummet to between of 2 and -2°C degrees with moderate easterly winds this evening, and those conditions are set to continue that way well into the weekend.
According to Dublin Live, The UK are expecting up to six inches of snow, with temperatures as low -14°C, which will certainly impact our weather, but not quite so much.
Met Eireann forecaster, Liz Walsh said:
“We won’t be getting as much as the UK but there is definitely a risk of getting snow.
In fact, meterological website Accuweather had this to say about the dropping temperatures:
Yikes.
Looks like a weekend of extra jumpers and full-blast heating is ahead of us!
