Suspicious Device Found Near Dublin Housing Estate Last Night

Gardaí and the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit attended the scene of a suspicious device discovered in Dublin last night. 

Residents in the area of Lambourn, Clonsilla were alerted of a potential evacuation after the device was discovered near the Royal Canal.

A Garda spokesperson told Dublin Live that someone spotted the device beside the canal while out walking. 

The device was removed from the area to the barracks by Gardaí.
