Taxi Driver And Passenger Hospitalised Following Serious Early Morning Collision

A taxi driver and passenger have been hospitalised following a collision in Dublin north inner city early this morning. 

The incident occurred at the junction between Portland Row and the North Circular Road at approximately 1.40am according to Independent.ie.

The taxi driver and passenger were rushed to the Mater Hospital to be treated for serious injuries. 

The driver of the second vehicle was left unharmed. 

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses and ask that anyone with any information call Mountjoy Garda Station on (01) 666 8600 or the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
