Not a story you’d hear every day…
A man in his late teens was arrested this morning after attempting to hijack an ambulance on Mountjoy Street, Dublin.
The incident occurred at around 8.45am this morning, according to the Journal.ie.
It is believed that he managed to drive the ambulance a few metres before tipping a pole. At this point, the crew managed to restrain him until armed Gardaí arrived, arrested and took him to Mountjoy Garda Station.
He was charged under the Road Traffic Act but was later released.
